About us

Our history

A restaurant created by chef and owner Yabnesh Kassa serves traditional Ethiopian cuisine and some of her favorite dishes inspired by her birthplace, Addis Ababa, made with locally available ingredients. Bitanya's Ethiopian Restaurant is named after her youngest daughter's name. Yabneh started food Ethiopian dishes at the age of nine. Years after years she fell in love with cooking. Few years after she came to America she decided to work hard and open her own restaurant which was her dream come true.
